Arianna Johnston (she/her) is an objects conservator at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation lab. She also serves as the website administrator for the Washington Conservation Guild. Arianna received her MSc in Conservation Practice from Cardiff University and her BA in Fine Arts from Alfred University. Arianna has interests in composite artifacts and in refining health and safety practices in conservation. She has previous experience working with the Smithsonian Institution National Air and Space Museum, University of Aberdeen, Birmingham Museums Trust, Mathers Museum of World Cultures, and in private practice in objects conservation in Indiana and northern Virginia.
