Charlotte Seifen Ameringer is a Fellow of AIC and has been a member of the Paintings Specialty Group for over 20 years. Charlotte is currently a Full Conservator of Paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She previously worked at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the High Museum in Atlanta, GA, the Balboa Art Conservation Center in San Diego, CA, and The National Trust UK. She is a graduate of the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program. Charlotte is actively involved in AIC. She currently serves on the Membership Committee and previously served two terms on the Ethics and Standards Committee. She is the Associate Program Chair for PSG having previously served as Secretary/Treasurer. Charlotte is strongly committed to advocating for the conservation profession. She has served as a grant reviewer for IMLS and the “Save America’s Treasures” program and has served in an advisory capacity for a number of organizations.
