DANIELLE FRASER is the Library Conservator and the Head of the Preservation and Conservation Laboratory at the Heritage Library Division, NALIS. In 2009 she graduated with a Master of Science in Information Studies (MSIS) and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Conservation of Library and Archival Materials from the School of Information, University of Texas at Austin, Texas, USA. She was the 2008 Cecil and Michael E. Pulitzer Book Conservation Fellow, Conservation Division, Preservation Directorate of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., USA. Her study was made possible through a scholarship awarded by the National Library and Information System Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (NALIS).
