Diana Galante is an objects conservator at the National Museum of American History, where she is treating objects for the upcoming reopening of the West Wing. Previously, she was a conservator at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, an Objects Fellow at the Harvard Art Museums, and a furniture and objects conservator for a private firm in NYC. She graduated from the conservation and art history program at NYU and did her graduate internship at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She has studied and practiced a wide variety of arts and crafts techniques including metalwork, woodworking, sewing and 2-D arts.
