Join members of the AIC Emergency Committee in helping staff at the DuSable Museum of African American History become more prepared for the unexpected. No prior emergency training is necessary, just a willingness to assist with activities. The program will begin with a presentation on the principles of emergency response from National Heritage Responders Ann Frellsen, Susan Duhl, and Bob Herskovitz. Additional sessions will include a risk assessment exercise and a wet salvage demonstration. Participants are asked to meet in the Hyatt Regency lobby at 9:30 am in order to depart together for the museum.
