ShuHan Chang is currently a conservator at Nishio Conservation Studio in Washington D.C. since 2015. She mainly conserves Chinese and Japanese scrolls and folding screens, handscrolls, prints, watercolors, and documents. She was born and raised in Taiwan. She earned B.A. degree in Japanese Paintings from Tunghai University. She received M.A. degree in Conservation of Asian Paintings and Paper from Tainan National University of Arts (TNNUA), in Taiwan, in 2013. During her graduate programs, she interned at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Artns, Historical Object Conservation Research Center in National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA), National Palace Museum in Taipei, and Nishio Conservation Studio in Washington D.C. She worked as an assistant conservator at Book and Paper Conservation Laboratory, National Palace Museum in Taipei until 2014.
