Hana Bristow recently graduated with a Distinction in MA Conservation of Archeaological & Museum Objects at Durham University in 2015, having formerly studied BA Archaeology, Anthropology & Art History (University of East Anglia) and MA Material & Visual Culture (Anthropology) at UCL. As part of her conservation training she completed a nine-month internship at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, and subsequently went on to work for the National Trust as Conservation & Processing Team Lead at Clandon Park where a large-scale salvage operation has been underway since a devastating fire struck in April 2015. In September 2016, Hana joined the National Museum of the Royal Navy as Assistant Conservator at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Here she works in the Historic Ships team to conserve HMS Victory, HMS Alliance and HMS M.33 among others. Hana's professional interests span archaeological conservation, ethnographic and industrial collections, as well as in-situ conservation in challenging environments.
