Prof Dr. Harby E. Ahmed is an Associate Professor of Conservation in the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University in Egypt.  Furthermore, he is an H.D Certified Trainer (Faculty and Leadership Development Center). He has more than 27 articles in international journals. Also, he is author for 7 books in historical textile conservation. He is joined and present in more than 18 international conferences. Harby E. Ahmed is supervisor of more than 15 master and PhD thesis. Harby E. Ahmed conserves a high numbers of historical textiles and carpets in different international museums.
