Janet Lee is the Conservation Assistant in the Book and Paper Conservation Department of the New-York Historical Society's Patricia D. Klingenstein Library. She holds a BA in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College and is currently pursuing a Masters in Fashion and Textile Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology SUNY in New York. Her thesis project is on the treatment and collections care of a bound fashion catalog containing swatches of embroidered fabrics.
