Karla Cook supports the Public Art, Temporary Exhibitions, and Performing Arts Programs at San Diego International Airport. She is responsible for the care and conservation of the airport's 45 piece public art collection. She works closely with a team of conservators to ensure the collection is in excellent condition for the traveling public. Cook brings over ten years of experience working as an arts administrator to the airport. Prior to joining the team at SAN, Cook held positions at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, New York Public Library, Museum of Jewish Heritage—A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, and Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara.
