Mrs. Freed has two decades of experience in conservation and preservation of paper and parchment. She holds a master degree from Russian State University for Humanities in Museum Science. Her education includes: material science and technology; chemistry; biology; history and theory of conservation science; art history; general museology; attribution and expertise of museum objects. Mrs. Freed worked for seven years in Department of Manuscripts of Russian State Research Institute for Restoration - one of the most prestigious conservation laboratories that specializes in treatment of hand-written books and documents of 10-18 Centuries.
