After graduating from Bennington College with a BA in Visual Arts, Sara Moy earned an MSc in Conservation from University College London Her professional interests focus on preservation methods associated with modern and contemporary objects and installations, as well as material behavior, particularly among complex and unusual composite objects. Sara has held internships and positions at the Arts and Antiques Division of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, the Kaman-Kalehöyük excavation, Harvard University's Peabody Museum of Art and Ethnology, the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies-Harvard University Art Museums, the Harpers Ferry Division of Conservation at the U.S. National Park Service, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and M+ in Hong Kong. Currently, she holds a position at The Art Institute of Chicago.
