Skyler graduated with an MA in Principles of Conservation from University College London in 2012. Her research interests include the intersection of organic and inorganic material in situ, interdisciplinary conservation outreach, preventive conservation, and conservation ethics. From 2014-2017 she was working as an intern and project conservator on ethnographic and archaeological material at Arizona State Museum. She has spent the past two summers as the site conservator on a project in Italy. She is currently a Graduate Student Researcher at the UCLA/Getty Conservation Program and the current ADG liaison for ECPN.
