Cynthia Schwarz is the Senior Associate Conservator of Paintings at the Yale University Art Gallery. Her research interests include the structural treatment of canvas paintings and modern paintings. She is the co-coordinator of the HBCU Students and Mentors Program in Technical Art History. She has a BFA in painting from Rhode Island School of Design and a MS in art conservation from the Winterthur/ University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. She joined the staff at the Yale University Art Gallery in 2008.
