Graduated and specialized in Art history in Florence University, I'm employer of the Italian Ministery of Cultural Heritage as Director of the Department of Conservation of Terracotta and Wooden Sculpture at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence. I directed several restorations of della Robbia Works including the Madonna by Luca il giovane, discovered at Citerna (Perugia), the Visitazione by Luca della Robbia in Pistoia , and the glazed terracotta Medallions with Putti by Andrea in Innocenti Hospital, Florence. About the wooden sculpture, I directed the restoration of many polychrome works, including several crucifixes ( by Donatello in Santa Croce church, by Brunelleschi in Santa Maria Novella Church, by Antonio del Pollaiolo in San Lorenzo Church, by Benedetto da Maiano in Florence Cathedral) and also the Penitent Magdalene by Donatello in Opera del Duomo Museum, just restored.
