Victoria Binder is the associate paper conservator at the Fine Art Museums of San Francisco where she has worked since 2009. She received her B.A. in art history from New York University in 1997 and her M.A. and C.A.S in conservation from the State University College at Buffalo in 2007. Prior to FAMSF, she was a fellow at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and held conservation positions and internships at the Brooklyn Museum, the American Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Northeast Document Conservation Center, and three private practices. Victoria has regularly contributed to AIC and BPG with presentations, publications, and posters, including techniques for cast pulp, digital fills, and a lively presentation on San Francisco Rock Posters and photo-offset lithography with an accompanying soundtrack of Jimmy Hendrix.
