Soraya Alcalá is a Museum Conservator. Currently, she is a consultant to The Hispanic Society of America, and she is collaborating with Conservator John Scott in the maintenance and conservation of the Outdoor Sculpture Collection of Princeton University. She organizes training workshops with the New York Conservation Foundation among other organizations. Soraya worked internationally on World Heritage Sites at Opera della Primaziale Pisana, Italy, and at Museu d'Art Nacional de Catalunya, Spain. She was an intern at the Science Department and Sculpture Department of the Victoria and Albert Museum, U.K. Soraya obtained her B.A. in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Barcelona, Spain and an MSc in Materials and Diagnostic Techniques of Cultural Heritage at Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry at University of Pisa, Italy.
