I am a conservation assistant at Winterthur museum. I work primarily as a technician in the textile and object labs respectively, where I create exhibit mounts, storage housings and perform minor surface treatments. I also operate a modified atmosphere chamber and oversee low temperature treatments for object is need of pest eradication. I am currently in my second year of graduate study with Northumbria University, where I am working on an MA in Preventive Conservation. The course work is administered online, so I am able to continue my work at Winterthur while obtaining my masters degree.
